Collaborative work with Mary Lynn White

These pieces are created by a several step process.  First, Gary blows a colored blank that serves as a canvas.  After it is annealed, Mary Lynn uses dense enamels to create the imagery.  After the image dries, the painted blank is heated in an oven.  Then Gary picks it up on a pipe and puts one or more layers of crystal over it.  Finally,  it is worked hot until the form is achieved.
